Intern Abuser Wins HOW Award
Having survived the holidays and the Mayan apocalypse with only minor forays into cannibalism, the delightful chaps from NeoPangea are proud to announce our first award win of 2013! To our mustache-twirling delight, the Intern Abuser web event received an award in the 14th Annual HOW Interactive Design Awards. One of our most fanciful and mischievous projects to date, the Intern Abuser will be featured online at HOWInteractiveDesign.com, at the 2013 HOW Design Conferences, and at the 2013 HOW Design Live event.
A team of design-industry veterans judged nearly 800 entries and selected winning projects that demonstrated an ideal mix of concept, strategy and execution. The judging panel included Patrick McNeil, content director for the HOW Interactive Design community, Liz Danzico, Chair, School of Visual Arts Interaction Design MFA, and John Kilpatrick, Executive Creative Director, The Daily.
Entries were judged according to these criteria:
- How well does the entry communicate?
- How well does the entry achieve the client's mission?
- How memorable or unique is the entry?
- How strong is the entry aesthetically?
The HOW Interactive Design Awards encompass all types of digital work, from websites and kiosks to games and apps. This year's winning projects were created by top teams including Firstborn, Second Story, Cartoon Network and Hello Design. Proud to be counted among such noteworthy winners, NeoPangea looks forward to adding yet another prestigious award to an already crowded accolades shelf!
