Two New Addys for the Shelf

Oddly enough, with the days getting warmer and comfort food quickly being forgotten, it was NeoPangea’s latest work for the National Geographic Channel, websites for Life Below Zero and Eat: The Story of Food, that won at the 2015 American Advertising Awards. NeoPangea’s internet alchemy and electronic thaumaturgy produced both a silver award for LBZ and a gold award for Eat at the 2015 Addys in Philadelphia. West Reading’s premiere digital boutique was proud of their achievements this year, and these awards are the proverbial icing on the cake.

“The real honor is receiving such recognition from your peers,” said NeoPangea’s resident mad genius and founder, Brett Bagenstose, the Baron of Pixels. Upon hearing the news, the Baron kicked himself in the forehead (with his own foot) in celebration. “Wait, did someone say we won? Why does my head hurt?”

About the American Advertising Awards:
The American Advertising Awards, formerly the ADDYs, is the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local AAF Club (Ad Club) competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising. Selection of the most creative entry in each category is affected by a scoring process in which a panel of judges evaluates all creative dimensions of every entry. A GOLD ADDY is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the category. Entries that are also considered outstanding and worthy of recognition receive a SILVER ADDY. The number of awards given in each category is determined by the judges, based on the relative quality of work in that category.
