NeoPangea Gains a Nat Geo Veteran, Jen Wallace

Well folks, NeoPangea just got an upgrade, and her name is Jen Wallace.

Jen’s officially joining our ultra-eccentric band of creative misfits as The Archer Of Alliances (AKA VP of Marketing & Client Strategy), bringing a killer mix of storytelling,  strategic thinking, and digital wizardry to the team.

Jen Wallace’s career path reads like an adventure novel: one filled with unexpected twists, creative breakthroughs, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting. A little Lara Croft. A little Annie Leibovitz. A lot of Jen Wallace.

She started out dabbling in interior design, working project management jobs while considering grad school, before diving into the world of stock photography at Jupiter Images (which was later scooped up by Getty). That gig put her in touch with National Geographic Kids magazine, where she talked her way into a job as a photography editor, despite not being a photographer (legendary move, honestly).

But Jen isn’t one to sit still. She fell in love with digital storytelling and spent the next decade at National Geographic’s Brand Studio, building interactive experiences, data visualizations, games, and microsites. Sound familiar? That’s the kind of innovation NeoPangea thrives on.

Then, in 2016, she took her talents to Nat Geo’s Experiences Team, leading the business development charge on traveling exhibitions, museum partnerships, and large-scale immersive projects (including some with us no less). She helped grow the biz, explore wild new ideas, and navigate the ever-turbulent landscape of brand partnerships.

“We’ve worked with Jen for over a decade, and honestly, we’re lucky that we get to hang out with her full-time,” said Brett Bagenstose, The Baron of Pixels and steerer of the NeoPangea collective ship. “She’s got the vision, the talent, and, most importantly, the ability to not only tolerate our uniqueness, but add to it. And that’s rare.”

Now? Well, Jen’s bringing all that maniacal magic to NeoPangea, where her storytelling superpowers and big-picture thinking will turbocharge our next wave of boundary-pushing, mind-exploding experiences.

“True to my Nat Geo roots, when I think about the expanding opportunities in experiential design, gaming, and interactives, I feel like an explorer with a map that hasn’t yet been charted,” said Jen with the kind of giddy enthusiasm we just love to see. “I’m eager to help drive business development at NeoPangea, forging new partnerships with brands, museums, and themed entertainment pioneers.”

So, what’s next? Big ideas, wild experiments, and probably some new inside jokes. Welcome to the team Jen.
