Hiring: VP of Marketing & Client Strategy

NeoPangea is hiring a VP of Marketing & Client Strategy to join the team of artisans, technologists, and strategists on several challenging, creative, and innovative endeavors ranging from experiential design, game design, and interactive design for brands, museums, entertainment, and public spaces. This position will lead bold sales strategies, develop new marketing tactics, and help NeoPangea create interactive and immersive content throughout the world. NeoPangea is experiencing significant growth and is seeking to evolve our business development processes. Reporting to the CEO, the VP of Marketing & Client Strategy will represent NeoPangea, and take charge of overseeing the daily execution of sales and marketing related activities. This role requires a highly collaborative, creative, and detail-oriented approach, while playing a key role in securing new projects for the company and spearheading marketing initiatives on many platforms.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and develop a nuanced understanding of the market of museums, cultural attractions, and themed entertainment
• Based on this research identify areas and clients of interest 
• Formulate a strategy for developing relationships and business with identified clients of interest
• Develop and maintain a network of sources for leads and RFPs 
• Identification, implementation, and management of sales and development resources/tools and materials
• Represent NeoPangea by attending exhibitions, trade shows, conferences and other general networking activities in order to raise our market profile 
• Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with clients and partners
• Ownership, strategy definition, and direction of all proposals 
• Collaborate with and guide other members of the Sales, Strategy, Marketing, and Creative teams
• Own and evolve our new business strategy, tactics, processes, and tools
• Writing of proposals as necessary
• Assist with developing estimates
• Analysis and reporting on proposals
• Establishing a client relationship where possible, and supporting the transition from the award of RFP to the project work 
• Act as a secondary line of communication between clients and the project teams as needed
• Develop a forward-thinking marketing strategy that amplify our brand’s recognition, drives revenue growth, and aligns with company objectives.
• Spearhead marketing initiatives (website, capabilities, SEO, social, newsletter, thought leadership, speaker engagements, press) while collaborating with the team to produce the content

Experience:

• NeoPangea does not require specific college degrees, but this position does require a proven track record of expertise in this position
• 8+ years of experience with museums and cultural attractions is a must
• Self-starter or experience in a similar role
• Experience with proposal writing and project strategy in a design and production context
• Established quantitative capabilities and high-level of comfort with numbers
• Flexibility and open-mindedness in approach, with fundamental team and solution-based mind-set
• Fluency in English a must, written and spoken
• Computer programs: Microsoft suite, Google docs, Dropbox, Hubspot, Powerpoint

While this position is remote, NeoPangea's primary space is in West Reading, PA, about an hour west of Philadelphia, and serves as the headquarters for mad scientists, Victorian enthusiasts, and Star Wars nerds alike. Yes, we have artifacts from this building's former life as a bank, we have a hot air balloon, an Arduino-powered nerf gun, custom standing desks, and Han Solo frozen in carbonate. No, we do not have a time machine...yet.
