Government AI gone rogue + interactive history questions mashed with a sketch comedy vibe + a glitchy host set to destroy humanity. Now… that’s a show.
History is NOT boring. But learning about it usually is. We’re talking drooling from your mouth, semi-comatose, “for God’s sake please let this end” boring. And that kinda sucks, because when you really dig into history, it’s got more crazy stuff going on than your average Bruckheimer movie. We wanted to change all that, and find a way to bring big, bold facts about history to one of the toughest audiences out there; 18-35 year olds. The battle for their attention is hardcore. They’re being bombarded with TikTok, Insta, YouTube, video games, and texting sessions with 17 people at once. That is one tough nut to crack. Well, challenge accepted. At NeoPangea, we never say die. So we banged our heads together, sometimes violently, and came up with a concept that we knew would scratch this crowd where they’re itching. An interactive, full-on, all-bets-are-off, trivia show hosted by an animated AI nihilist who wants to set humanity on fire. And we called this beast… History Glitch.
So, how do you bring the idea to life with the energy that comes from dropping a nuke on another nuke? Well, that’s where our dedicated team of maniacs writers, coders, animators, and all-around badasses got to work. For this show to be successful, it needed vigor, and lots of it. But also, a host with a back story. Meet Mitch, an AI that became self-aware, and after studying all of human history, decided, Terminator-style, that we needed to be wiped out. But, he wants to teach us all a lesson first. The format of the show was simple: Mitch presents you with a historical scenario, but ONE key detail is missing. You’re given four bizarre options to fill in the blank, and when you make your choice, Mitch tests your answer via a bangin’ historical simulator crammed with sketch comedy, swearing, and rude jokes. There are seven questions per game, all with one goal… to make you a history buff and destroy the Earth in the process. There’s never been a show like it. And there never will be.

A SELF-AWARE Proof of Concept
History Glitch is a history-obsessed, sketch comedy game show for human beings (and sentient AI) ages 18-35. In this interactive series, you’re given a bunch of weird, shocking, and implausible choices – and have to guess what really happened back when! It’s like “If You Don’t Know Jack” was hosted by Max Headroom in a “Bandersnatch” interactive.
