The Great NeoPangea AI Experiment

The goal was a deceptively simple one. To create a vivid, vivacious Victorian-Era origin story for NeoPangea while R&Ding how we can utilize AI tools ethically for our clients. One that required no shoots. No actors. And no voiceover artists. Just a sophisticated suite of AI tools, and a very human team. They began by tapping ChatGPT to convert detailed scene descriptions into optimized prompts. These prompts were then fed into KREA's FLUX Model, a top-notch text-to-image engine that translates complex concepts into stunning high-fidelity visual assets. Adobe’s Generative Fill then helped refine these visuals using non-destructive edits, adjusting object placement, and perfectly polished compositions. From there, ChatGPT’s image-to-video capabilities enabled us to bring these visuals to life. How? By generating dynamic video prompts that captured the creative essence behind each scene. Then, we employed Runway’s Gen 3-Alpha model to stitch together over 400 high-quality video sequences, reducing days of animation into just minutes. We were blown away.

But the story didn’t end there. As we outlined from the get-go, it was imperative to us that the human touch be involved in the creation of this piece. And their fingerprints can be seen all over the finished piece; if you know what you’re looking for. The team took something that was a B- and created an A+ result by adding direction, refining animations, and fine-tuning each and every frame. It culminated in a seamless blend of AI efficiency and human creativity. To add a final creative flourish to the video, it was time for the voiceover. For that, AI voice synthesis from Eleven Labs, powered by ChatGPT-generated scripts, brought an extra layer of pomp and personality to the project. And what did we learn from this journey into new AI territory? Well, that AI is just another tool at our (and your) disposal that, when blended ethically with human innovation, can produce incredible results in the blink of an eye. (Well, not literally… but it was fast, and fun!) It’s robots and people, working together in perfect harmony.
